Our Students

From ninja-tots, to teenagers and to adults, our students encompass all different walks of life. We have children's only and children and adult classes, so families can train together. Some students train to improve their conditioning while others train for self-defense or just enjoy the social interaction. Our younger students benefit from increasing their attention span and focus. Some students are physically challenged and yet are able to achieve their belts through effort and dedication. We have a SWAT Team which is made up of students wishing to become instructors. They learn how to run classes, recognize challenges, both for students on the floor and themselves, and are able to act as leaders. Some students participate in our demonstration team and do shows at schools, malls, or at the dojo. The Demo Team is able to create their own katas, skits, and show off their skills using various martial arts equipment.

Our students are expected to be positive role models and carry themselves with respect, humility, courtesy and dignity in and out of the dojo. A positive thinking, well-mannered individual should have the confidence not to exercise their self-defense abilities unless absolutely necessary. The dojo is for learning and training.

Student Creed

I intend to develop myself in a positive manner and
avoid anything that would reduce my mental
growth or my physical health.

I intend to develop self-discipline in order to bring
out the best in myself and others.

I intend to use what I learn in class constructively and
defensively: to help myself and my fellow man and
never to be abusive or offensive.
