MMA Classes

MMA classes form part of the jiu-jitsu and karate programs and are optional. They include takedown techniques, striking, no gi grappling and are designed to simulate real life, real time offensive and defensive situations in a supervised, controlled and safe environment. Self-control and respect are key elements for anyone wishing to participate in this program. Our MMA classes incorporate an intense cardiovascular workout, so if your goal is weight reduction, endurance or stamina, this is the class for you. We have men and women participating in this ultimate workout. Long sleeve rash guards and gi pants or shorts are required and may be purchased at the Pro Shop.
