Thanks so much for you and your family to provide another wonderful ceremony to watch. It is such a joy to see the progress our children experience from their physical and emotional development. You and your family are vital to our community, Amanda and Tyler with their great attitude and love for karate help make the sessions so much fun. Our son is so excited to go to a purple class. Thanks so much for helping Steve and I raise our son. He's very precious to us.
I've coached for a bunch of 5 year olds. You're very good at what you do, it's really hard to teach a skill and make the session fun as well. Larry loves karate and he said he does not want to miss the grading ceremony. It means a lot to Larry to demonstrate his skills and make a big deal about earning his green belt. JB
... the most important thing is that although Charlie was angry and scared, he kept his hands in his pockets and didn't lash out as he often has. He told me that he didn't want to hurt anyone, and we think he showed good judgment in the situation. We have congratulated him on showing willpower and good spirit. Thank you for helping to teach Charlie to keep his temper - he stood up to no fewer than 10 of his fellow students, but didn't strike out despite being extremely angry and scared. Might not always happen, but this situation was pretty extreme, and we're very proud.
To Craig and Anne: Thanks so much for providing Jake such a great summer and fall. He loves coming to Karate. We had to get organized for winter and with Christmas not around much. However, we hope to enrol again in spring. Jake really wants his orange belt. You and your family are wonderful. You all have a flare in making my son happy and looking forward to every session. Thanks for everything we wish you a great new year and see you again in Spring! J. M.
It's a tall order to find a school matching your quality or a teacher equalling your character. In truth, you taught me more than Karate. You taught me integrity, discipline and character. Not only on the floor but watching you with your wife and your kids, your students and their parents. On a personal level, as a young executive I don't often have the role models that I need. And as most people are looking up to me, I often don't have the opportunity to look up to someone myself. Working with you gave me that though, and it's a more special and lasting gift than the martial art ever was. So, take this compliment with all the sincerity it's spoken with as I mean to tell you how great a teacher you are in many ways. J. B.
We just wanted to take a moment to thank you and your family for all you have done and continue to do for Nate. Our hope when we enrolled Nate in Ninja-Tots was to help him gain back the confidence that he lost when he had his anaphylactic reaction this past summer. When he started the program this summer, he had become so shy, withdrawn and had become afraid of new situations and new people. You may recall when he first started he would hide his head when you would say goodbye to him after the class and he cautiously would join the other kids only after the class started when someone would hold his hand and walk him over to the other kids. Over the past months, we have seen his confidence slowly grow. Last night at the grading ceremony, a short six months later he ran excitedly to join the others students (majority of whom he had never met before), he sat down with teenagers he didn't know and stretched beside them, and when you called him up first, he walked confidently (as confident as a 3 ½ year old can walk) over to you in front of a room full of strangers, then turned around faced to the crowd, smiled and said a quiet "Hi" to everyone. It was truly an amazing thing for my husband and I to watch and we were so proud of our little guy. Thank you, D. K. T.
